Inflatable tents
First aid posts, hospitality tents, decontamination shelters
The Darcy inflatable arch tents are designed for use as:
- hospitality tents
- first-aid posts
- casualty clearing stations
- command posts
- decontamination shelters
- and at social and sporting events.
These tents are so easy and quick to set up that they are an essential part of your emergency response plan especially for civil defence, fire services, mobile emergency medical services, the army and also for outdoor events.
Structure
The Darcy inflatable arch tents feature an external skin and an inflatable frame supporting the canvas which allows them to be set up in less than 5 minutes. The arches are independent, strapped to the covering canvas and mechanically fixed. They are composed of a protective skin and a P.U. inner tube.
The covering canvas and the groundsheet are solidly attached to each other. They are M2 fireproofed. The groundsheet is non-slip.
Standard specifications
The standard specifications of the Darcy inflatable arch tents are:
- Doors - the doors are equipped with a standard external waterproof link that allows simple connectivity to another tent.
- Window(s) - the windows have an internal integral mosquito net that is welded to the canvas. A transparent window and a shutter, connected to each other by Velcro strips, can close over the mosquito net.
- Ventilation sleeves - these allow for the introduction of a hearing or air conditioning duct into the the passage into the tent. They can be closed by tightening a rope.
- Cable sleeves - these allow for electicity cabling to be passed into the tent. The sleeves can be closed by tightening a rope.
- Fastenings - pegs and guy ropes.
- Handling straps - they are positioned on the floor in front of each inflatable arch allowing for easy locating or moving of the tent once it has been set up.
Decontamination tents
The Darcy inflatable decontamination arch tent are used for massive decontamination in the event of chemical, biological, industrial hazard, attack or war. The portable decontamination shelter has 2 inside hallways, each of them featuring:
- an undressing area
- a shower area
- a dressing area.
The decontamination unit features
- An inflatable arch 45 m2 tent
- A removable and disposable vat
- A removable and disposable double shower cabin
- Removable internal partitions
- Lighting
- Two electrical power stations
- One heater with two exits
- One flexible 8 000 litres tank for storage of clean water
- An instantaneous water heater
- A water supply pump for shower
- A shower frame
- A water outlet pump for used water
- Connecting hoses for shower water in and outlet
- An 8,000 litre flexible tank for used water.
Tents and awnings

Additional equipment
The Darcy inflatable arch tents can also incorporate the following equipment:

Heating and air-conditioning units function in extreme weather conditions. They provide maximum comfort and hight protection for sensitive equipment such as IT systems, weapons, storage of drugs)
The rugged air-conditioning units are designed to cope with external temperatures of up to 50°C. The heaters produce clean, hot, pulsed air, free from any smell and burnt gases.
